Your pipeline
Every sale you are working on, and where it is.
The board
Pipeline shows every sale you are working on as a card, in columns by stage: New, Talking, Quote sent, then Won or Lost, unless you change them. Each column says how many deals are in it and what they are worth together.
- Mine only shows the deals you own.
- Won and lost too shows the deals closed in the last 90 days. Without it, the won and lost columns show only their totals, and you can still drop a deal into them.
Owners, admins, managers and agents work on the pipeline; viewers can look. The billing role does not see it: deals are about customers.
Adding and moving deals
New deal on the board: find the customer by name or number, say what it is and what it is worth. In the inbox, Add to pipeline under the customer's name adds one for the conversation you are in; once they have an open deal, it shows there with its stage.
Drag a card to another column, or use its own list to move it, which also works on a phone. A deal you move to a lost stage asks why it was lost; the reason stays on the card and in its history. A won or lost deal moved back into an open stage is open again.
A deal's page changes its title, value, stage and owner, links to the conversation and the customer, and lists everything that happened to it, by whom and when. Owners, admins and managers can remove a deal.
Your stages
Stages, for owners, admins and managers: rename them, put them in order, add up to twelve, and say which a sale ends in (Won or Lost). Keep at least one open stage, one won and one lost. A stage with deals in it stays until they are moved.
A stage can start a follow-up on the deal's conversation when a deal comes into it: a reminder two days after Quote sent, if they have not answered.
Deals that add themselves
- From an advert. Tick A deal for every chat from an advert on Stages: someone who writes after tapping one of your Click-to-WhatsApp adverts goes into the first stage, named after the advert.
- From a lead form. A lead form can add each lead it welcomes, at the stage you choose.
- From your own system. Through the API, and a webhook tells it when a deal is added, moves, is won or is lost.
